Today we are going to make Dal Makhni
Urad Dal - 250 gm
Rajma - 100 gm
Red Chilli Powder
First soak dal in water for about 2-3 hours, now add it to a pressure cooker and add rajma to it. Now add salt to taste, cover the lid and cook until 3 whistles. Now take a pan and add little desi ghee. Add 2 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp ginger paste and let it cook for 2-3 mins. Now add little add and 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder and stir. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates. Add dal which we had left for boiling and mix it well. Cook for 10 mins and now take a small tadka pan and add a cube of butter. Once the butter melts, add chopped garlic and cook for only 1-2 mins. Now pour the tadka on the dal and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Take it out in a plate. Garnish it with cream, green chilli and coriander leaves. Dal Makhni is ready to serve.
