By adding the WhatsApp Recent Chats widget to their device, Apple users may view which contacts they have unread messages from without launching the WhatsApp program. When you swipe from left to right from your primary home screen or lock screen, up to four of your most recent chats will show up in the recent chats widget.

The widget displays the rounded profile image icon together with the quantity of unread chats you have from that specific contact. The chat you want to read will then open in WhatsApp after you click on it.

iOS: From your lock screen or primary home screen, swipe left to right. Then, scroll down and tap the Edit icon. Next, add the WhatsApp Recent Chats icon. Finally, rearrange the order of your widgets.
