Minar | Mughlai Cuisine Restaurant
The version served at Minar is currently the best, even though Delhi's well-known butter chicken dish was first created at another eatery (the venerable but dwindling Moti Mahal). The chicken at this glitzy, traditional family restaurant is tender and creamy, mildly seasoned, and served with a buttery tomato sauce. The greatest way to enjoy butter chicken is with a large group of people who can share sides like dal makhani (slow-cooked black lentils) and hot, buttery naan. The taste of rich dishes and fresh-from-the-tandoor bread satisfies any need for traditional New Delhi delight.
