La Barceloneta
The long, broad Sant Sebastià Beach, where inhabitants flock to sunbathe, surf, and socialize in the numerous seafood restaurants and tapas venues that overlook the sea, is bordered by the historic fishing village of La Barceloneta, which is now a seaside suburb of Barcelona. Lifeguards, public restrooms, showers, sport courts, lounge chair and sun umbrella rentals, ice cream parlors, and snack bars are just a few of the attractions available at Sant Sebastià Beach. The Sant Sebastià Beach area is connected to marinas with boats by a lengthy promenade adorned with palm palms. La Barceloneta neighborhood includes the well-known Barceloneta Beach. Excellent amenities are available at this beach, including lifeguards, public restrooms, showers, changing places, lounge chair rentals, ice cream vendors, snack bars, and areas for recreational activities (such as beach volleyball and ping pong). Take a ride on the Port Cable Car, which ascends to the mountaintop Montjuc, to enjoy views of the coastline, marinas, and port area of La Barceloneta.
