There are several religious places in Mumbai that are worthwhile of your time, but none are as intriguing as the Haji Ali Dargah. The mosque, which is situated off Mumbai's west coast like a buoy floating in the water, is only reachable during low tide when a narrow walkway is made visible. Join the masses of pilgrims who visit the mosque to pay their respects on Thursdays and Fridays. If you're a woman, just make sure to bring a headscarf.
