West Bengal's first Omicron case was recorded on Wednesday, when a seven-year-old kid from Murshidabad district tested positive for the coronavirus strain, according to a senior health department official. The child, according to the official, just returned to Bengal from Abu Dhabi via Hyderabad. In the Murshidabad district, he is receiving care at a local hospital.
