Nearly four days after Russia launched its military action, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that a team from his country will meet with Russian authorities at an undisclosed site near the Belarusian border. This came after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his nuclear forces to be placed on high alert, a decision Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, said was timed to put pressure on Ukraine during the talks. According to Ukraine's Interior Ministry, the Russian invasion has resulted in the deaths of 352 Ukrainian people, including 14 children. Since the operation began, an estimated 400,000 Ukrainians have infiltrated into the EU.
