Up till 1 pm, Tripura saw a 51.4% voter turnout. The incumbent BJP is vying for reelection in 60 seats of the Northeastern state in a multi-cornered election. Long lines were visible as voters of all ages made their way to the polls, according to footage by NDTV. A person was hurt, according to polling officials, in a fight between BJP and Left supporters. According to the authorities, a case has been opened, and the injured person has been taken to a hospital. The state's top leaders all voiced confidence about their respective parties putting on a strong performance. Chief Minister Manik Saha stated he was happy about the results. A good show was expected, according to Tipra Motha leader Pradyot Manikya Debbarma, whose party is thought to be the deciding factor in this election. Tripura was dominated by the CPM for more than 30 years until the surprise result of the 2018 election, when the BJP won 36 of the 60 seats in a state where it had no representation.
