On Thursday, there will be a six-hour traffic restriction on National Highway 48, popularly known as the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, in preparation of President Droupadi Murmu's visit to the Om Shanti Retreat Center in Bhora Kalan. The Gurgaon traffic police have advised that there will be delays in traffic from 9 am to 12 noon. After that, it will be restricted from 2 to 5 o'clock. Heavy vehicle traffic will not be allowed on the full section of NH-8. Vehicles using the NH-48 to travel from Delhi to Jaipur must turn left at Shankar Chowk and proceed through Golf Course Road or Rajeev Chowk via Sohna Road (Gurgaon-Pataudi Road). According to the traffic advisory, vehicles traveling to Jaipur must take the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway through Panchgaon and Manesar. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Virender Singh Sangwan informed Hindustan Times (HT) that guidelines have been sent to concerned officers, traffic inspectors, and zonal officers.
