Two SpiceJet pilots and other ground workers were suspended by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) after a SpiceJet plane collided with a pole at the Delhi airport while preparing to take off on Monday. The Delhi-Jammu flight was set to take off on Monday morning when its right wing collided with the pole during pushback, injuring the aileron, which allows the pilot to complete a turn. The DGCA ordered the suspension of two pilots and one aircraft maintenance engineer. Officials also paid a visit to the scene to conduct an investigation.
