According to a senior DGCA official, seven passengers aboard an Air India flight on Wednesday from the nation's capital to Sydney experienced "minor sprain" as a result of intense turbulence. No hospitalization was needed, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) official. Severe turbulence was experienced by the Air India B787-800 aircraft VT-ANY as it was flying flight AI-302 from Delhi to Sydney. Only three passengers accessed the medical treatment that Air India's Sydney airport manager had arranged for them, the official said.
