The kidnapped individuals were said to be awaiting evacuation from the war-hit country. According to the most recent sources, they have now been released. Meanwhile, a Taliban spokesman has apparently denied any kidnapping reports. According to reports, Taliban insurgents seized an Indian coordinator who was in Kabul to assist with the evacuation of refugees from Afghanistan.
