Rajasthan will now have 19 new districts

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, made the announcement regarding the creation of 19 new districts on Friday. Three new divisions and new districts will be created months before the key Assembly elections. The state now has 50 districts altogether after the creation of 19 new districts. Anupgarh, Balotra, Beawar, Deeg, Didwana-Kuchaman City, Dudu, Gangapur City, Jaipur North, Jaipur South, Jodhpur East, Jodhpur West, Kekri, Kotputli, Khairthal, Neemkathana, Phalodi, Salumbar, Sanchore, and Shahpura are just a few of the districts that fit this description. The state now has 10 divisions total because of the addition of Banswara, Pali, and Sikar. The creation of new districts and divisions was announced by Ashok Gehlot yesterday during the Rajasthan Assembly's budget session.
