Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, has ordered all primary schools in the capital to close until the city's air and pollution conditions improve. He also made sure the government was doing everything it could to contain the pollution. Arvind Kejriwal said, “We're taking all steps to control the pollution situation. In lieu of that, we're shutting down all primary schools in Delhi from tomorrow... Also shutting down outdoor activities for all classes above class 5." He claimed that the Delhi government is also mulling whether to apply the odd-even arrangement for vehicles in the nation's capital.
