Pakistani and Turkish students flee Ukraine with the help of a spray-painted Indian flag

Not only did India's national tricolor come to the rescue of stranded Indians, but also people from Pakistan and Turkey attempting to get into Ukraine's neighboring countries.

The national tricolor, according to Indian students who arrived in Bucharest, Romania via Ukraine, assisted them, as well as several Pakistani and Turkish students, in securely navigating the many checkpoints in the war-torn country. The students described how they went to the marketplaces to buy spray paints to make Indian flags. The Indian students arrived in Romania in order to board special evacuation aircraft from Ukraine's neighboring nations as part of 'Operation Ganga.' Special evacuation flights are being operated by Air India, SpiceJet, and Indigo.
