The United States Geological Survey (USGS) noted another earthquake on Sunday in the area of Turkey. According to the USGS, an earthquake with a 4.7 magnitude occurred 24 km south-southeast of Kahramanmaraş, Turkey. The USGS added that this latest earthquake in a string of quakes that have destroyed several cities around the nation occurred at a depth of 15.7 km. Additionally, the agency stated that the earthquake happened at 00:03:15 (UTC+05:30). Rescue workers in Turkey said that 33,000 people had died as a result of the country's many successive earthquakes, and that the likelihood of finding everyone trapped beneath the wreckage was dwindling every day.
