Many European countries accept Covishield for travel

According to sources, nine European countries are admitting Covishield vaccines for travel to their countries. According to the reports, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, and Spain are among the nations that allow those who have received Covishield immunizations to travel. According to them, Switzerland has accepted Covishield as a Schengen state. Separately, Estonia has stated that it will accept all vaccines approved by the Indian government for Indians travelling to that country, according to the sources. India has already requested that each EU member country consider permitting Indians who have received the Covishield and Covaxin vaccines to travel to Europe. The Digital Covid certificate, often known as the "Green Pass," will go into force on Thursday in the European Union, with the goal of facilitating unrestricted travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. Persons who have received vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) will be immune from travel restrictions throughout the EU region under this system. The EU Digital Covid certificate, often known as a "Green Pass," will be required for travel to European nations and will act as proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
