Maharashtra government has declared that wearing a mask in public areas is now mandatory

In response to an increase in Covid-19 cases, the state administration issued an order requiring individuals to wear masks in all public locations except open spaces. After Maharashtra reported an increase in Covid cases, the decision was made. To the district authorities, the state government voiced worry about the rising number of Covid cases. In a letter to all district authorities, Additional Chief Secretary Dr Pradeep Vyas issued various instructions, including one requiring the wearing of masks in public areas. “Mask in closed public spaces like trains, buses, cinemas, auditoriums, offices, hospitals, colleges, schools is a must,” he stated.
