Kerala recorded 2434 new instances of COVID-19

On Monday, Kerala recorded 2,434 new instances of COVID-19, with 50,446 samples analysed in the previous 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the state's COVID-19 load has risen to 51,97,039 cases. Kerala added 203 deaths to the official list of COVID deaths on Monday, bringing the total number of cases fatalities in the state to 43,170. This includes 38 deaths in the last few days and 165 deaths that have now been classified as COVID deaths by the government as a result of new guidelines issued by the Centre and family appeals. As of Monday, 13,295 deaths had been added to the official COVID fatality list as a result of the death reconciliation exercise.
