On Monday, England took a 1-0 lead against Italy in the UEFA Euro 2020 Final at Wembley Stadium. In the first half, England's Luke Shaw scored against a formidable Italian side coached by Roberto Mancini. In the second half Italy leveled the score when Leonardo Bonucci from Italy was able to direct the ball into the goal. An amazing strike by Bonucci had put England under pressure. Scores were 1-1 even after the extra time which further led to a penalty shoot-out.

After missing out on qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Italy was looking for redemption. It's also worth mentioning that England has never won a major event against Italy.
