Infosys' net profit for the September 2021 quarter increased by 11.9 percent

Infosys, India's second largest IT services business, announced on Wednesday that its consolidated net profit for the September 2021 quarter increased by 11.9 percent to INR 5,421 crore. According to a regulatory filing, Infosys made a net profit of INR 4,845 crore in the same time previous fiscal. Revenues for the Bengaluru-based company increased by 20.5 percent to INR 29,602 crore in the second quarter of FY22, up from INR 24,570 crore in the previous quarter. Infosys raised its revenue growth forecast for FY22 to 16.5-17.5 percent. In constant currency terms, the company had previously forecasted 14-16 percent growth for the fiscal year ending March 2022. The company said in a statement that the Board of Directors has declared an interim dividend of INR 15 per share for FY22.
