In the previous 24 hours, 8,954 new cases have been reported. The recovery of 10,207 individuals in the last 24 hours has brought the total number of recovered patients to 3,40,28,506 since the start of the epidemic. As a result, India's recovery rate is now at 98.36%. After 547 days, India's Active Caseload is less than a lakh; it now stands at 99,023. Active cases account for 0.29 percent of all Positive Cases in the country, the lowest level since March 2020. The testing capacity in the Country continues to grow. A total of 11,08,467 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. India has completed 64.24 Cr (64,24,12,315) total tests so far. Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 0.84 percent has remained below 1 percent for the past 17 days. The Daily Positivity Rate was reported to be 0.81 percent. For the past 58 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 2 percent, and for the past 93 days, it has been below 3 percent.
