India reports 7992 new Covid-19 cases

In the previous 24 hours, 7,992 new cases have been reported. The recovery of 9,265 patients in the last 24 hours brings the total number of recovered patients to 3,41,14,331 since the start of the epidemic. As a result, India's recovery rate has risen to 98.36%, the highest since March 2020. The active caseload in India is currently at 93,277, the lowest level in 559 days. Active cases account for 0.27 percent of all Positive Cases in the country, the lowest level since March 2020. The testing capacity in the Country continues to grow. A total of 12,50,672 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. Over 65.46 Cr (65,46,27,300) cumulative tests have been done in India so far. Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 0.71 percent has remained below 1 percent for the past 27 days. The Daily Positivity Rate was 0.64 percent, according to reports. For the past 68 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 2 percent, and for the past 103 days, it has been below 3 percent.
