India reports 7189 new Covid-19 cases

In the previous 24 hours, 7,189 new cases have been reported. The recovery of 7,286 patients in the last 24 hours brings the total number of recovered patients to 3,42,23,263. As a result, India's recovery rate has reached 98.40 percent, its highest level since March 2020. India's active caseload, at 77,032, is at its lowest level in 579 days. Active cases account for 0.22 percent of all Positive Cases in the country, the lowest level since March 2020. The testing capacity in the Country continues to grow. A total of 11,12,195 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In total, India has conducted around 67.10 Cr (67,10,51,627) tests. Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 0.60 percent has remained below 1 percent for the past 41 days. The Daily Positivity Rate has been reported to be 0.65 percent. For the past 82 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 2 percent, and for the past 117 days, it has been below 3 percent.
