In the previous 24 hours, 6,317 new cases have been reported. The recovery of 6,906 patients in the last 24 hours brings the total number of recovered patients to 3,42,01,966 since the start of the epidemic. As a result, India's recovery rate has risen to 98.40 percent, the highest level since March 2020. India's active caseload, at 78,190, is at its lowest level in 575 days. Active cases account for 0.22 percent of all Positive Cases in the country, the lowest level since March 2020. The testing capacity in the Country continues to grow. A total of 12,29,512 tests were completed in the last 24 hours. In total, India has conducted around 66.73 Cr (66,73,56,171) tests. Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 0.58 percent has remained below 1 percent for the past 38 days. The Daily Positivity Rate was reported at 0.51 percent. For the past 79 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 2 percent, and for the past 114 days, it has been below 3 percent.
