India reports 5326 new Covid-19 cases

In the previous 24 hours, 5,326 new cases have been reported. This is the lowest it's been in 581 days. The recovery of 8,043 individuals in the last 24 hours brings the total number of recovered patients to 3,41,95,060 since the start of the epidemic. As a result, India's recovery rate has risen to 98.40 percent, the highest level since March 2020. India's active caseload, which is currently at 79,097, is at its lowest level in 574 days. Active cases account for 0.23 percent of all Positive Cases in the country, the lowest level since March 2020. The testing capacity in the Country continues to grow. In the last 24 hours, a total of 10,14,079 tests have been performed. In total, India has conducted around 66.61 Cr (66,61,62,659) tests. Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 0.59 percent has remained below 1% for the past 37 days. The Daily Positivity Rate was reported at 0.53%. For the past 78 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 2%, and for the past 113 days, it has been below 3%.
