India reports 39,097 new Covid-19 cases and 35,087 recoveries

In the previous 24 hours, India has reported 39,097 new cases. Since twenty-seven days, fewer than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported. Since the start of the pandemic, 3,05,03,166 people have recovered from COVID-19, with 35,087 patients recovering in the last 24 hours. This equates to a 97.35 percent total recovery rate. Today, India's Active Caseload is at 4,08,977, accounting for 1.31 percent of the country's total Positive Cases. In the last 24 hours, a total of 16,31,266 tests were conducted around the country. India has already undertaken approximately 45.45 crore (45,45,70,811) tests in total. While testing capacity has been increased across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate is now 2.22 percent, and the Daily Positivity Rate is now 2.40 percent. For 33 days in a row, the daily positivity rate has been less than 3 percent, and for 47 days in a row, it has been less than 5 percent.
