India reports 35,342 new Covid-19 cases and 38,740 recoveries

In the previous 24 hours, India has reported 35,342 new cases. Since twenty-six days, fewer than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported. Today, India's Active Caseload is 4,05,513 cases, accounting for 1.30 percent of the country's total Positive Cases. Out of the people who have been infected since the start of the pandemic, 3,04,68,079 have recovered from COVID-19, with 38,740 patients recovering in the last 24 hours. This equates to a 97.36 percent total recovery rate. In the last 24 hours, a total of 16,68,561 tests were conducted around the country. India has already done over 45.29 crore (45,29,39,545) tests in total. While testing capacity has been increased across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate is now at 2.14 percent, with the Daily Positivity Rate at 2.12 percent. For 32 days in a row, the daily positivity rate has been less than 3 percent, and for 46 days in a row, it has been less than 5 percent.
