India reports 25,166 new Covid-19 cases and 36,830 recoveries

India has reported the fewest daily new cases in 154 days (25,166). For the past fifty-one days, fewer than 50,000 Daily New Cases have been reported. The recovery rate in India is now at 97.51 percent, the highest since March 2020. Out of the people who have been infected since the start of the pandemic, 3,14,48,754 have recovered from COVID-19, with 36,830 patients recovering in the last 24 hours. With 3,69,846 active cases, India's active caseload is at its lowest level in 146 days. Active cases now account for only 1.15 percent of all Positive Cases in the country, the lowest level since March 2020. In the last 24 hours, a total of 15,63,985 tests were conducted around the country.  Till date, India has conducted more than 49.66 crore (49,66,29,524) tests. While testing capacity has been increased across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 1.98 percent has remained below 3 percent for the past 53 days. In addition, the Daily Positivity rate is 1.61 percent. For the past 22 days, the daily positivity rate has been below 3 percent, and for the past 71 days, it has been below 5 percent.
