India reports 1938 new Covid-19 cases

In the previous 24 hours, 1,938 new cases have been reported. India's Active Caseload has dropped to 22,427 today, accounting for 0.05 percent of the country's total Positive Cases, continuing a declining trend. As a result, India's recovery rate is 98.75 percent. In the last 24 hours, 2,531 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 4,24,75,588 since the outbreak began. A total of 6,61,954 COVID-19 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In total, India has done approximately 78.49 Cr (78,49,52,800) tests. The weekly and daily Positivity Rates have also been steadily declining. The country's Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 0.35 percent, while the Daily Positivity Rate is also at 0.29 percent.
