For the second day in a row, India reports fewer than 20,000 new cases per day. In the previous 24 hours, 18,870 new cases have been reported. The recovery of 28,178 patients in the last 24 hours brings the total number of recovered patients to 3,29,86,180 since the start of the epidemic. As a result, India's recovery rate is 97.83 percent. The recovery rate has reached its greatest point since March 2020. The current Active Caseload is 2,82,520, the lowest in 194 days. Active cases account for 0.84 percent of all Positive Cases in the country. The testing capacity in the country continues to grow. A total of 15,04,713 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 1.82 percent has remained below 3 percent for the past 96 days. The Daily Positivity Rate was reported at 1.25 percent. For the past 30 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 3 percent, and for the past 113 days, it has been below 5 percent.
