After 201 days, India reports daily new cases of less than 20,000. In the previous 24 hours, 18,795 new cases have been reported. The recovery of 26,030 people in the last 24 hours brings the total number of recovered patients to 3,29,58,002 since the start of the epidemic.
As a result, India's recovery rate is 97.81 percent. The recovery rate has reached its greatest point since March 2020. The current Active Caseload is 2,92,206, the lowest in 192 days.
Active cases account for 0.87 percent of all Positive Cases in the country. The testing capacity in the country continues to grow. A total of 13,21,780 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. India has completed 56.57 Cr (56,57,30,031) cumulative tests so far. Despite increased testing capacity across the country, the Weekly Positivity Rate of 1.88 percent has remained below 3 percent for the past 95 days. 1.42 percent was reported as the Daily Positivity rate. For the past 29 days, the daily Positivity rate has been below 3 percent, and for the past 112 days, it has been below 5 percent.
