India reports 1421 new Covid-19 cases

In the previous 24 hours, 1,421 new cases have been reported. India's Active Caseload has dropped to 16,187 today, representing 0.04 percent of the country's total Positive Cases, following a declining trend. As a result, India's recovery rate is 98.75 percent. In the previous 24 hours, 1,826 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 4,24,82,262 since the start of the epidemic. A total of 6,20,251 COVID-19 tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In total, India has conducted around 78.69 Cr (78,69,22,965) tests. The weekly and daily Positivity Rates have also been steadily declining. The country's Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 0.27 percent, while the Daily Positivity Rate is also at 0.23 percent.
