India reports 1233 new Covid-19 cases

In the last 24 hours, 1,233 new cases have been reported, continuing a downward trend. In a noteworthy development, India's Active Caseload today (14,704) has dropped below the 15,000 level after 707 days, continuing a downward trend. Active cases now account for 0.03 percent of all Positive Cases in the country. On April 21, 2020, there were 14,759 active cases. As a result, India's recovery rate is 98.75 percent. In the previous 24 hours, 1,876 people have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 4,24,87,410 since the outbreak began. The weekly and daily Positivity Rates have also been steadily declining. The country's Weekly Positivity Rate is currently 0.25 percent, with a Daily Positivity Rate of 0.20 percent.
