The cold wave and cold day conditions that have gripped the northern and northwestern parts of India are expected to pass within the next 48 hours, according to a forecast issued on Sunday by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). According to the weather forecast, this will occur as a result of an impending western disturbance that will disrupt the weather on January 10 in the states of Punjab and Haryana as well as the western Himalayas. According to the weather forecast, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh were under a red alert for intense fog. Additionally, Rajasthan and Bihar have been given an orange alert for intense fog.
