Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are still suffering from the effects of the rain. In the midst of non-stop rain, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted "heavy to very heavy rains" for the upcoming 24 hours and has issued a "red alert" for various areas in both Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The "red alert" will eventually change to a "orange alert," according to the weather service. Due to extended periods of rain, the hill states are experiencing a series of disasters. The number of people killed in Himachal Pradesh as a result of recent rains has increased to 55. Landslides, flash floods, and cloudbursts are causing significant property damage, fatalities, and evictions.
