Heavy Jams seen due to Chirag Delhi flyover's partial closure

Delhi: Due to the Chirag Delhi flyover's partial closure on the Outer Ring Road for repairs, there are reports of severe traffic congestion in some areas of south Delhi. The Delhi Police reported that between 8 and 10.30 am, they received numerous complaints on their helpline complaining of severe traffic in Chirag, Delhi. On their Twitter accounts, many commuters posted updates on the traffic situation. According to a tweet from the Delhi Traffic Police, bus breakdowns have also slowed down traffic on Lala Lajpat Rai Marg in the direction of Moolchand and the Lodhi flyover as well as on Ganda Nala Road in the lane from Hospital red light to Nizamuddin East red light. Beginning on Sunday, construction would take 25 days to complete on each carriageway of the Chirag Delhi flyover. The traffic police announced that one carriageway would be closed for traffic while the other would be kept open. According to officials, traffic would continue to be impacted on some roads in south Delhi since one of the Chirag Delhi Flyover's carriageways will be closed for 25 days starting on March 12.
