During a ceremony with a light show in the stadium that will host the final, Germany unveiled the logo for soccer's 2024 European Championship. On a gloomy evening in Berlin on Tuesday, a few guests and media were invited to the UEFA launch at the Olympiastadion, but no spectators were present. The Henri Delaunay Cup — the bulbous tournament trophy — is outlined on a coloured circular outline that recalls the Olympiastadion's roof in the logo. It is decorated with the colours of the flags of UEFA's 55 member countries, which are cut into 24 slices around the trophy to signify the 24 teams that will qualify for the tournament in Germany. The tournament will take place in June and July 2024, with the match schedule to be announced the following year.
