On Monday morning, Delhi was shrouded in a thick layer of fog, and visibility remained poor. The most recent update from the India Meteorological Department indicated that visibility was 25 meters in Safdarjung, Delhi, and 50 meters in Palam. The Safdarjung weather station, which serves as a marker for Delhi, reported a minimum temperature of 1.9 degrees Celsius on Sunday, the second-lowest minimum temperature recorded in January since at least 2008. Meanwhile, cold wave conditions persisted in the nation's capital.
