Even if just a single student tests positive in the school, Delhi Schools have been instructed to close. Covid instances in Delhi increased somewhat on Thursday, with cases recorded from newly opened schools as well. Yesterday, 325 new Covid cases were recorded in Delhi, with a 2.39 percent positive rate. As a result, the Delhi government has issued new advice for schools in the city. Following the discovery of a Covid incident in Delhi schools, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia promised that the situation will be closely monitored. On April 15, he said, new instructions for schools in the capital would be released. The Department of Education, or DoE, has finally revealed the same. According to the new guidelines, if a student, teacher, or staff member is discovered to be positive, a school in the capital is required to close the wing or the entire institution. Following the covid policy and rules, the school would notify the Department of Education. In the school campus, masks are advised.
