According to information provided by the city government's health department, Delhi recorded seven Covid-related fatalities for the second day in a row on Thursday and documented 865 new coronavirus cases with a positivity rate of 16.90%. The city also reported seven fatalities on Wednesday, the most so far this year. The number of new cases brought the total number of infections in the national capital to 20,37,061, while the death toll increased to 26,620. There were 4,279 active cases in the national capital. 3,143 patients were isolated at home out of the total, it said. A health department notice states that the new instances were discovered through 5,117 testing, including 3,599 RT-PCR/CBNAAT/True Nat tests that were completed the day before.
