Cyclone Biparjoy, whose name means "disaster" in Bengali, is now less powerful. After making landfall in Gujarat's coastal regions on Thursday, Biparjoy's severity was downgraded from "very severe" to "severe." Heavy rains are anticipated in Rajasthan on Friday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), which also stated that the cyclone has now transitioned from the sea to land and is centered around Saurashtra-Kutch. APM Terminals Pipavav Port has been negatively hit by Cyclone Biparjoy.  The port also announced that certain landside operations are starting immediately after the weather around the facility significantly improved in a notice to customers posted on its website on Friday.
