Chandrayaan-3 moon landing might shift to Aug 27 if conditions turn out to be unfavorable, says ISRO official

According to a senior official at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), if the weather turn out to be "unfavourable", the Chandrayaan-3 mission will try to land on the moon's surface on August 27 rather than August 23 as originally planned."On August 23, two hours before Chandrayaan-3 lands on the moon, we will take a decision on whether or not it will be appropriate to land it at that time based on the health of the lander module and the conditions on the moon," Nilesh M Desai, Director, Space Applications Centre-ISRO told ANI on August 21. "In case, if any factor appears to be not favourable, then we will land the module on the Moon on August 27," he added.
