On April 10 and 11, the government is organizing a statewide mock drill to assess hospital preparation in light of the increase in COVID-19 and seasonal influenza cases. An exercise to assess the availability of medicines, hospital beds, medical equipment, and medical oxygen is expected to involve both public and private health facilities in all districts, according to a joint advisory released on Saturday by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Union Health Ministry. The warning indicated that the states would be informed in full of the simulated drill's specifics during the online meeting set for March 27.
