The new British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on the phone on October 27. The two leaders' conversation took place in the midst of the arrival of James Cleverly, the UK Foreign Secretary, who will attend the special UN Counter Terror Committee meeting in Mumbai and Delhi. "Glad to speak to Rishi Sunak today. Congratulated him on assuming charge as UK PM. We will work together to further strengthen our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. We also agreed on the importance of early conclusion of a comprehensive and balanced FTA," PM Modi tweeted. Next month's G20 Summit in Bali is where the two presidents are anticipated to meet.
