Famous veteran artist, KC Sivasankar passed away at his residence in Chennai. His work spanned more than 60 years. He was the illustrator of Vikram and Betal series and had illustrated for popular children’s magazine, Chandamama aka Ambulimama. He worked for Chandamama magazine for 60 years. The magazine at one point published in 12 languages. He later joined Ramakrishna Vijayam magazine. He was born in a small village in Erode. He passed away at the age of 97.
