AQI in the national capital fell to 386

According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research, the total Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital fell to 386 this morning, putting it in the 'very poor' category (SAFAR). At 7:50 a.m., PM10 measured 360 in the 'very poor' category, while PM 2.5 was 386 in the 'very poor' category. In the "very poor" category, Gurugram and Noida had AQIs of 355 and 391, respectively. According to SAFAR, air quality will worsen to AQI 428 in the "severe" category. An AQI of zero to 50 is regarded 'good', 51 to 100 is considered 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 is considered 'moderate,' 201 to 300 is considered 'poor,' 301 to 400 is considered 'very poor', and 401 to 500 is considered 'severe'.
