Rescuers are looking for survivors buried under the wreckage as a succession of aftershocks follow a shallow earthquake that shook Java, Indonesia's largest island, killing 162 people and wounding hundreds more. According to West Java governor Ridwan Kamil and local media Kompas.com and Detik.com, more than 13,000 people have also been displaced as a result of the earthquake that struck Indonesia on Monday. According to the US Geological Survey, the 5.6-magnitude earthquake had its epicenter at a depth of 10 kilometers in the hilly West Java province's Cianjur district (6.2 miles).
