A traffic advisory has been issued for tomorrow's Republic Day Parade dress rehearsal

The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a warning regarding the preparations and limitations needed for the Republic Day parade's full dress rehearsal on Monday. The rehearsal will begin at 10.30 am at Vijay Chowk and end at Red Fort after traveling via Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, C-Hexagon, and past a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the middle of a roundabout. No traffic will be allowed on Kartavya Path between Vijay Chowk and India Gate from 6 p.m. on Sunday until the parade's conclusion on Monday in order to ensure its smooth passage. From Sunday night at 11pm till the parade is over, there won't be any cross-traffic on Kartavya Path at Rafi Marg, Janpath, and Man Singh Road. According to the advise, the C-Hexagon-India Gate will be closed starting at 9.15 am on Monday until the march reaches Tilak Marg. Beginning at 10.30 am, Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Subhash Marg will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions. Cross-traffic will only be permitted based on how the march moves, it said. It has been recommended that commuters stay away from the parade route from 9.30 am to 1 pm. Throughout the dress rehearsal ceremony, Metro services will be accessible at all stations. However, the advisory states that from 5 am to 12 pm, no boarding or deboarding will be allowed at the Kendriya Sachivalaya and Udyog Bhawan stations.
